OUR CHALLENGES
The biggest challenge we faced was that the business was fairly new in its industry so the client had to do twice the effort to start making its name as well as building a clientele. The client was open to listening to feedback and supporting to get better results, however with such a saturated market, they were at loss for what to do in order to stand out.
Our Steps
- Identify Relevant TikTok Creators: Conducted in-depth market research to identify the affiliates ideal for this role.
- Created Affiliate-Friendly Content Guidelines:
Developed clear content guidelines that encourage affiliates to create engaging and authentic content (e.g., unboxings, product demonstrations, reviews, and lifestyle videos, what offer to pitch etc). - Managed Affiliate Performance and Tracking:
Ensured that affiliate links and promo codes are correctly linked to the influencer’s TikTok content so we could accurately track sales. - A/B Tested Affiliates:
Tested different affiliates, video types, and promo strategies to determine what works best for the target audience. - Liased with Client to Improve Performance:
Initially, the client made the effort to put better content on TikTok to build credibility for higher-performing affiliates which helped to get more organic content for the client as well.
